scammer/abuser
No name given, lists themselves as a "hacker/programmer"
description
The email is the same as what has been described here. I did, however, come up with some additional details regarding where this person might live. The IP address I found in the email header is 51.223.50.55, and depending on which IP lookup service you use will point to IANA.org or, if you try geolocating the IP address, an ISP in Saudi Arabia. With that being said, this scammer is operating outside the country, in a jurisdiction that probably has little regulation dealing with this particular crime. The important take away is that this is a spoof/phishing ploy and there is zero chance that this person has actually hacked your computer. I only wish I had a way to reply and tell them to go back to script-kiddie school.
For those of you that are not tech-savvy, do not give this clown any money. This is a paper-tiger and the threat is 100% empty.
